Meet Our Team
John has more than 31 years of experience in the audit, review and tax areas of public accounting, and more than 5 years of experience in the financial services field. He has served as business advisor and financial consultant to numerous businesses in the manufacturing, construction, retail and service industries, including succession and retirement planning as well as estate planning.
Nancy is the Payroll Specialist for Turgeon & Associates, LLC. In additional to providing payroll services to our small businesses, she is the dedicated liaison between the businesses that we support, and all payroll tax related entities that our clients interact with. Prior to her employment with Turgeon & Associates, Nancy worked in the business office of Enfield Public Schools System. Nancy graduated with honors from Asnuntuck Community College with a degree in Business Accounting.
Susan joined Turgeon & Associates in January of 2017. She has over 30 years of experience in the Income Tax field. Sue handles most of the IRS and State Department of Revenue mitigation issues. She is extremely well versed and knowledgeable about the complex Internal Revenue Code. Sue became an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service in 1994, and maintains her status each year by completing Income Tax seminars which keep her current with all the complex changes in the tax laws. Sue is an avid Nascar fan and enjoys weekends at Mohegan Sun.
Barbara is the newest member of the Turgeon & Associates team. She is the staff accountant who is dedicated as our QuickBooks specialist, and uses her accounting background to ensure that all of the files entrusted to her are accurate. Barbara is continuing her education at Asnuntuck Community College where she is currently pursuing her degree in accounting. She has a Master degree in Economics from Krakow University of Economics in Poland.
Danuta is the administrative assistant for Turgeon & Associates, LLC. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bay Path University. Danuta skills set in business, marketing, administration, and management is an asset to the firm as well as to the businesses that we support. Previously, Danuta worked as a property manager supervising commercial and residential properties.
